Currency
In most of Western Europe, the currency you
will require will be Euros. However, you will need Swiss Francs
(CHF) when travelling in Switzerland. It is possible to make
purchases in Euros at selected establishments in Switzerland,
but please note that change will typically be given in
CHF.
We advise passengers to exchange any
spending money before they travel. Whilst on tour, exchanging
currency can be very inconvenient, and not all places we visit
will have ATMs or accept credit/debit cards.
We also recommend passengers keep some
change in coins on hand, as using toilets in many parts of
Europe is not free.
Please note that USD, GBP, or
travellers cheques are not widely accepted at locations
on this tour.
Distances
An important point to note whilst on a touring holiday is
that some long journeys are unavoidable, especially when
travelling from city to city.
It is advisable that passengers carry necessities that they
may need for the day such as water, dry snacks, cameras, etc.,
in their hand luggage.
It should be noted that the travel times are extensive on
this tour.

Major Attractions
Amsterdam Canal
Cruise
The Amsterdam Canal Cruise provides a
relaxing view of the citys charming architecture and
famous canals. Cruises last around 60 minutes, passing
landmarks like the Anne Frank House and Skinny Bridge.
Depending on the day, the cruise takes a different path through
the city, depending on the amount of traffic on the canals and
the size of the boat
Cheese & Clog
Factory
At the Cheese & Clog Factory, visitors
can witness the traditional Dutch craftsmanship of wooden
clog-making and cheese production. Taste authentic Dutch
cheeses such as Gouda and explore the souvenir shop for local
products. Be aware that cobblestone pathways may present
challenges for those with mobility issues.
Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is one of the most iconic
landmarks in the world. Timed access to the 2nd floor provides
stunning views over Paris. For those wishing to visit the
summit, separate tickets are required, and queues can be very
long. Expect a long wait in the queues, especially during peak
tourist seasons.
Fragonard
Perfumery
At the Fragonard Perfumery, visitors can
learn about the art of perfume making. The guided tour includes
a visit to the laboratory and a chance to purchase exclusive
fragrances. Take advantage of the opportunity to discover how
perfumes are crafted using traditional methods.
Interlaken
Nestled between two lakes and surrounded by
the Swiss Alps, Interlaken is a hub for outdoor activities like
hiking and paragliding. While on tour, explore the picturesque
town, and dont miss the views of the surrounding Jungfrau
Region.
Keukenhof
Gardens
Keukenhof, one of the most extensive flower
gardens in the world, boasts 7 million bulbs. Visits are timed
to allow a glimpse of its vast beauty, so its essential
to plan by checking the Keukenhof website to prioritise key
areas, such as the Windmill, Tulip Mosaic, and themed gardens.
The expansive grounds require comfortable walking shoes, and
early planning helps make the most of the limited time
available.
Lake Titisee
Located in the Black Forest of Germany, Lake
Titisee is a scenic spot and offers a chance to explore the
charming lakeside town. Known for its crystal-clear waters, the
lake is a popular spot for relaxing walks and purchasing local
crafts such as cuckoo clocks.
Louvre Museum
The Louvre, the worlds largest art
museum, houses over 38,000 works. Entrance tickets are not
included in the tour, and advance booking is recommended. Focus
on highlights such as the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Winged
Victory of Samothrace. Use the Louvre website to plan your
visit, as time may be limited.
Madurodam Model
Village
At Madurodam in The Hague, visitors can
experience a miniature version of the Netherlands, including
famous landmarks like Schiphol Airport and Rijksmuseum. The
park is expansive, so wear comfortable shoes and use the
Madurodam app for a guided tour.
Mt. Jungfrau
Mt. Jungfrau, known as the Top of Europe,
offers a breathtaking experience with the Jungfrau Railway,
taking you to an altitude of 3,454 meters. At the summit,
visitors can explore the Ice Palace and Aletsch Glacier. Given
the high altitude, temperatures can drop to freezing even in
summer, so warm clothing is essential.
Mt. Titlis
A visit to Mt. Titlis offers a thrilling
cable car ride to the summit, where youll experience the
Glacier Cave and Titlis Cliff Walk, Europes highest
suspension bridge. Prepare for cold temperatures, even in
summer, and wear sturdy footwear for exploring snowy
areas.
Rhine Falls
As Europes largest waterfall, Rhine
Falls provides awe-inspiring views. You can take a boat ride
close to the falls or enjoy the view from various platforms.
The pathways near the falls can be slippery, so non-slip
footwear is recommended. Explore surrounding trails and viewing
points for a complete experience.
River Rhine
Cruise
This scenic cruise along the River Rhine
offers spectacular views of castles, vineyards, and quaint
villages. Lasting 1 hour, the cruise provides comfortable
seating, both indoor and on deck, and is ideal for photography
enthusiasts. Be prepared for cooler temperatures on the
water.
River Seine Boat
Cruise
A Seine River cruise offers a leisurely way
to take in Pariss top sights, including the Eiffel Tower,
Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Musée dOrsay. Cruises
typically last around 1 hour.
St. Peters
Basilica
Located in Vatican City, St. Peters
